WHO WE ARE
The recreational boating sector has grown significantly in Portugal in recent years, based on strong international demand, reflected in the increased number of boats and berths recorded over the years. Water sports have also increased in popularity, aided by a better structured offer and greater promotion of the natural conditions of the Portuguese coast.
WEEKENDOCEAN, LDA. was born out of its partners’ passion for the sea. They possess a broad and deep knowledge of recreational boating and maritime tourism, together with proven experience.
Since 8 May 2017, WEEKENDOCEAN, LDA has been registered as a maritime tourism operator with the Portuguese Tour Operators Registry, under no. 575/2017. It currently owns a fleet of 2 boats, and expects to operate 6 by 2020. Its fleet comprises motorized or sail boats from 16 to 35 feet.
WEEKENDOCEAN, LDA. uses its know-how and skills to enter the international market, aiming to fill gaps in the recreational boating and maritime tourism market. The company provides services related to nautical, leisure, sporting and environmental experiences, offering a huge range of programmes and activities to suit each customer. It has a highly qualified team, and also offers consultancy services to companies in the sector, implementing management and nautical navigation solutions and software.
